Comic Book of the Week

Another week, another book of the week. This was a very tough week for me to pick just one book. I mean, some of my favorite titles come out this week. Daredevil, Spider-Man, Hulk, East of West and Ten Grand. I got 5 of the best written titles on the market right now. The art for each book really fits the writing and sets the tone.

Jonathan Hickman is one of the best writers in comic books today. There are just so many layers in his books. Every word, every action is important. Every little thing MEANS something and that’s what draws me in. I hang on every word, and reread each book multiple times to make sure I don’t miss anything. I am like a kid at Christmas when I know one of his books is coming out.

Nick Dragotta’s art really sets this book off. He brings the story to life. The way he draws the four horseman has a unique, fitting look for them. That’s what really puts this book over the top. Just the meshing of writing and art work, it’s why I picked it as my book of the week. Laters
