Job Description Manage day-to-day relationship with GameSpot community.
Moderate community communication channels including forums and live chat
Development and manage community features, programs, and tools
Assist in overseeing team of GameSpot.com volunteer moderators
Assist in hosting Live GameSpot events and other online events
Accountable for community growth and satisfaction goals as well as reporting on community driven trends and feedback.
Required Qualifications Knowledge of the video game industry and video games in general
3 years of demonstrated experience managing online communities, either paid or volunteer
Strong passion for gaming, written or oral communication skills
Strong project and time management skills
Willingness to work around event schedules
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Must successfully pass a background check
Editorial experience with entertainment content types
Previous PR or Customer Service experience
In depth knowledge of GameSpot
Experience with basic HTML and web design
