Yes, I’m serious.
Dr. Steven Broman, Fort Collins, Colorado doctor is offering to perform a vasectomy which is $1,000-plus procedure in return for tickets. Anyone with extra tickets to today’s AFC Championship Game between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots gets a free vasectomy. Too bad I didn’t find out about this yesterday, I would have posted this.
A vasectomy is an outpatient procedure and you can recover within 48 hours. Snip, Snip!
Here’s a snippet of the article from USA Today.
Dr. Steven Broman of Fort Collins is offering to perform the $1,000-plus surgery in return for tickets. A long-time season-ticket holder, Broman and his family will be at Sunday’s game anyway. The extra tickets, he said, would go to his staff.
“The only people who wouldn’t have to pay me in tickets is Tom Brady, but I’d have to do the operation before the game,” Broman said, laughing.
This isn’t the first time Broman has made such an offer. He made a similar one in 2006 when the Broncos played the Pittsburgh Steelers. That year, he said, he came close to making a deal.
“I had a guy who was ready to pull the trigger, but he said he had only one ticket, so I offered to only do one side,” Broman said. “He didn’t think that was very funny.”
I gotta say this is a hilarious offer. If I was a guy, I’m not sure that I would give up my soldiers for a chance to watch the playoffs LIVE. But, then again, I could watch it in my home with an ice pack on my gonads, listening to my 2 children running around screaming and don’t have to worry about a 3rd child crying and screaming during the next playoff game.
So guys? Would you?
