Therapeutic Tuesdays

#TherapeuticTuesday is all about you and your mental health. Whether you need motivation, ways to de-stress, open/anonymous forum to talk or even write to us your experiences with mental health issues. We are no strangers to mental illness here at Vixen Varsity, we share our stories albeit hard. We want you all to know that it’s okay and that you are NOT alone.

Mental illness is a disease and it can be treated.

-Asperger’s Syndrome
-Bi-polar disorder
-Anxiety disorders
-Alcohol/Substance abuse
-Panic Disorder
-OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

This list can go on and on and on, just know that whatever mental health issue you have CAN be treated. Through therapy and if you choose, medicine. Vixen Varsity is a NO STIGMA ZONE, we are not here to judge you, we welcome you with “open arms” and if any help is needed we invite you to come to us.

You don’t need to have a mental illness to be involved with #TherapeuticTuesday, being stressed out behind bills isn’t a mental illness, but we can give you information on how to handle your stress. Sometimes we need a mental vacation right along with a physical one. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I just want to check out mentally and physically. Sometimes life just throws TOO MANY THINGS AT ONCE to you and you are beyond overwhelmed and you just don’t know what the hell to do.

“When it rains it pours.” That’s what they say right? That snowball effect, we’ve all had to deal with it at some point in our lives. We’re just giving you a place to say something via comments or email. There’s a contact form above if you want to get in touch with any of us.

So we invite you to participate, read, share or if you have suggestions or tips that worked for you to write them out and send it to us contribute{at} We’re a university, a community and we just want to make it easier for you to speak to someone. Sometimes, talking to strangers, not just therapists help.
