“The Walking Dead” Beats the Winter Olympics

Last night, The Walking Dead returned from its midseason hiatus with a bang. In the 18-49 demographic, The Walking Dead earned an 8.2 rating, enough to beat the Winter Olympics which earned a rating of a 7 in that key demographic. That is awesome news for the show. It’s an increase of 28% compared to when they returned from their midseason hiatus last year. And it’s only slightly behind what the season four premier did. With ratings like this, no wonder they are planning a spinoff for 2015. I, for one, can’t wait for the spinoff. Hell, I can’t wait till next week’s episode lol.
