Well, it’s Wednesday, and you know what that means. Yup, time for my weekly pull list. Every Wednesday, new comics hit your local comic book shop. This week, I got five books. As usual, I got a wide range of books, with some indie stuff and of course some super hero stuff. It’s going to be tough to pick my book of the week this week, that’s for sure.
Superior Spider-Man #27 is winding down. Marvel has already announced that The Amazing Spider-Man will be coming back in April. I hate when the publishers announce story line changes like that so far in advance, but it was bound to happen since The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes out in May. I am interested in how Dan Slott brings the book to a conclusion.
Batman #28 gives a sneak peek into the Batman Eternal story that will be happening after the Batman Zero Year story concludes. This is obviously to sync up with what is happening in Forever Evil. Can’t have the other books give away the conclusion of that big event.
Kick-Ass 3 #6 continues the final installment of the awesome Kick-Ass story. Kick-Ass tells the story of what might happened if people tried to be super heroes in the real world. I have loved this book. Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. have weaved a fantastic tale. I am sad and excited at the same time. Sad because it’s ending, and excited about how they end this amazing tale.
Ten Grand #7 is just one of those books that pull you in. I can’t tell you any one quality that makes this book so good, but I look forward to reading it each month. The art is crazy, but it just fits this supernatural thriller. If you like Supernatural, the this is a book for you.
Walking Dead #121 continues the intense All Out War storyline. This story has had it’s lulls, but overall it’s been very enjoyable. So I am looking forward to see what Robert Kirkman does in this issue.
Well, that’s my pull list for this week. Check back and see what my pick is for my book of the week. Until then, have a great day class.
