The Walking Dead season 6B returns on February 14th and thanks to TVLine and EW, we have our first look as to what’s going on. If you’re all caught up with the 1st half of season 6, then you know we were left in a very stinky situation. Can you imagine the smell of walker guts all over you? Gross. Not only are you covered in walker guts, you’re walking past the biggest herd in history AND (yeah, there’s more) a little brat is calling for his mother. Hell, even Judith knows when to shut the entire heck up.
When The Walking Dead returns, they’ll be picking up right where they left off – sneaking past a herd of walkers, covered in guts. According to Kirkman, series creator, We pick up right in that moment. Alexandria is overrun. Rick and the kids are all covered in guts trying to get through the crowd. Everyone is where we last saw them, and things get worse from there. Here’s a look at where we’ll be returning, courtesy of a picture from EW.
If you are a reader of The Walking Dead comic, you already know that the guts are about to hit the proverbial fan.
On the opposite side of town Daryl, Sasha and Abraham are dealing with a bit of trouble themselves. To hell with the Wolves, Negan’s gang is going to be a LOT more trouble than they ever were. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple speaks to TVLine about Negan, who’s being played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. He’s not nuts, he just kills, and it doesn’t bother him. I beg to disagree there Gimple, Negan is crazy as HELL!
Here’s fan favorite Daryl standing outside of a vehicle that’s soon to be commandeered by Negan’s people.
Now you might be asking what’s up with the banner? Let’s take another look at it shall we?
Well, according to Scott Gimple, this image gives a look at tiny pieces of a larger world our group is about to discover. In the new world, they’ll find hope, possibility, tragedy and the terrifying cost of change.
Is it February 14th yet???
