I don’t know about you, but I know that as for me and my budget….I’m BROKE. There are times that I would like to order out, but my pockets are laughing at me disrespectfully.
Yeah, I know that we order out for a few reasons.
I order out often because I’m all of the above. Now? Things have to change (I’ve been blowing money ordering out), so just as I posted the recipe for Beef Lo Mein, I felt it’s time to post a pork fried rice recipe.
Making Pork Fried Rice will take about 30-45 minutes. Here are the ingredients that you’re going to need:
4 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 cups of instant rice
4 boneless pork chops
1 tablespoon of oil
(peas and onions are optional)
Step 1: Season your boneless pork chops to your liking and start cooking them, til the pink is gone – do NOT overcook them. Once cooked perfectly, cut them up in small pieces.
Step 2: Start cooking your 2 cups of instant rice.
Step 3: In a separate container, scramble your 2 eggs.
Step 4: In a different container – pour 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 4-5 shakes of pepper, 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir it up well.
After your instant rice is done and cooled down and your pork chops are in tiny pieces, get ready because things will be moving quite fast.
Step 5: Pour 1 tablespoon of oil in wok or big enough frying pan to accompany all the above ingredients.
Step 6. When the oil is hot in enough, pour in your egg batter, take your spatula and scramble the egg mixture.
Step 7. When the eggs are scrambled enough, add your rice mixture and KEEP STIRRING.
Step 8. Pour the soy sauce mixture, continue to mixing, so your rice starts getting color.
Step 9: Add in sliced pork chops and mix everything together, until everything is covered.
Step 10: (OPTIONAL) if you believe that you might need to add more soy sauce, then feel free to add more.
Step 11: Grab a bowl or plate and ENJOY!
If your family is anything like mine, there were barely any leftovers!
You can substitute the pork for chicken or beef, or just regular fried rice filled with veggies. Enjoy and let me know how you enjoyed it!
