Mamarazzi Event: Disney’s Sleeping Beauty

sleeping beauty disney event

Today VixenVarsity attended a Disney Sleeping Beauty event hosted by SiriusXM’s TheMoms. Upon arrival we received the new Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition bluray/dvd combo seen in the picture above, along with free concession snacks and “Do Not Disturb” signs featuring Aurora and Maleficent.

There were many Disney Princesses in attendance from Elsa, Cinderella, Snow White, Anna and even Sleeping Beauty herself. Seeing so many pretty girls dressed up as Disney Princesses just made the event that much better. Even a few moms were Princesses too, they wore tiaras!

After the Princesses chatted with one another and made play date plans, we sat down in the theater for a special viewing of Sleeping Beauty movie.

The Sleeping Beauty MOMS event was a great Princess party that everyone enjoyed. Children viewing this movie for the first time loved it, the chatter between Princesses were all positive. Sleeping Beauty was a classic Disney movie and I’m glad it’s being released from the vault.

Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Event with Jennifer Garner

Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day event sponsored by lands end

Last night VixenVarsity attended the Mamarazzi #VeryBadDayEvent hosted by Sirius XM’s TheMoms, sponsored by LandsEnd with yummy treats from SweetCityCandy. We screened Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day movie at the Dolby Screening Room in NYC. Afterwards, the beautiful Jennifer Garner who stars in the movie sat with TheMoms and held an adorable interview with the children and parents in attendance.

Check out TheMoms Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein looked so fall ready in these jackets from Lands End.

When we arrived at the Dolby Screening Room we were greeted with fall/winter coats and jackets from Lands End along with yummy treats from Sweet City Candy that had a beautiful blue themed. Moms and dads from the NYC area brought their children to the event and they headed straight for the candy bar. Parents and their children tried on the coats that were there from Lands End, took pictures and the best part was if you uploaded the picture to your social media you had a chance to win a $100 gift card! Over 5 parents won the $100 gift card, but not to feel left out, the rest of the parents received a $25 gift card from Lands End! How sweet was that?!?

Speaking of sweets, there was a blue theme going on in the candy bar. Blue sharks, blue gummy worms and bears, there were blue tongues and lips everywhere! It was a such a “blue”-tiful display from Sweet City Candy.

Marvel Universe Live Event With SiriusXM’s TheMOMS

Marvel Universe Live

Last night I went to a Marvel Universe Live event hosted by SiriusXM’s TheMoms Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gersetein. Honestly, I’ve been waiting patiently for August 6th to get here for the past few weeks, you guys KNOW, that I Stan for Marvel. (See what I did there?) Upon arrival we walked directly into a fight between The HULK and Spider-Man

I swear The Hulk is ALWAYS throwing his weight around!

I had no idea that Marvel decided to bring Iron Woman AND Iron Man together for this Marvel Universe Live event! I’m absolutely here for it!

iron woman and iron-man marvel universe live

Wolverine and Thor are totally about to fight, altho it looks as if Thor is making…a kissyface??? HAVE AT THEE *insert kissyface*

Okay, you got me…that’s NOT really The Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Woman, Thor or Wolverine. There was a station where you could dress up by wearing several superhero accessories. Of course I joined in as the Female Thor. What can I say I am a geek/child at heart. A few minutes into pictures being taken, the cast of Marvel Universe Live appeared!

Check out SiriusXM’s TheMoms Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gersetein with the cast from Marvel Universe Live! That was after, they changed out of their costumes of course 😀

Would you believe there was a Black Widow AND Hawkeye station? AWESOMENESS!!!!!

marvel universe live superhero training stations

The Black Widow station was where you can learn how to defend yourself against the evil Chitauri or any bad guys that come at you. You’ll learn different combos on taking a bad guy down. Here’s a quick clip of Denise Albert embracing her Black Widow skills!

I think those heels were preventing her to take the bad guys down, but I have ample faith that Denise will totally kick some Chitauri booty in no time!

During the training camp session, I was able to do a quick interview with Juliette Feld, producer of Marvel Universe Live.

And now…for pics and videos of the show:

TheMoms #Planes2Mamarazzi Event

Yesterday I attended th Planes2Mamarazzi event for Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue with Julie Bowen, sponsored by TheMoms and NatureSmart. The event was held at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, we were greeted by the beautiful Denise Albert who looked amazing as always. There were several moms and their children and husband in tow, the children in attendance were so excited when we walked into the “lounge” area. The aroma of Windmill hotdogs filled the air, but there was also a hint of something sweet. That “something sweet” was none other than BakedByMelissa. The children couldn’t wait to get into the Windmill hotdogs cutout and have their pictures taken by their parents. They were absolutely adorable!

Upon entrance of the lounge area, you were handed these cute little red bags that were filled with Nature Smart vitamins along with a $2 off coupon. My niece and I received Amazing Spider-Man, Perry the Platypus, Tinkerbell and of course Disney’s Planes.

Watching hostess Denise Albert was such a treat, she posed for pics, played with the children, made sure everyone was having a great time. I’d definitely say she was the “hostess with the mostess.”

It was such a fresh breath of air watching the parents and children enjoy themselves. Even my 11 year old niece who, in between mini cupcake binges, managed to say how much she likes it here and thought that Denise and Carrie were…and I quote… the “beesknees”. After demolishing the cupcakes, she went to her little red bag and mentioned she should take her vitamins and proceeded to take 2 Disney Planes vitamins and said that she had no intentions of sharing.

The mommy bloggers were snapping pictures and talking with their peers about their children and what’s new. Even though I am not a mommy blogger, a few welcomed into the “fold”, some PROMPTLY found VixenVarsity on twitter and hit the follow button. How sweet, right? It was a great group of mothers with their amazing children who enjoyed themselves at the Planes2Mamarazzi event.

After our meet and greet we went into the theater where the talented Julie Bowen stopped by for a quick Q&A with Denise and Melissa. Then the lights dimmed, everyone ran to different seats and enjoyed Disney’s Planes: Fire & Rescue.

A huge thank you again goes to TheMoms, Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein, NatureSmart for these awesome vitamins that everyone in my house has been taking. *whispers* I had a few Spider-Man gummies.

Planes2Mamarazzi was a HIT!

Can’t wait for the next Mamarazzi event!

TheMoms Quick Q&A With Julie Bowen From Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue

disney's planes fire and rescue

Today, I went to an advance screening for Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue courtesy of Sirius XM’s TheMoms with Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gersetein. Before the screening, TheMoms did a quick Q&A with Julie Bowen, who plays Dipper an air tanker who puts out fires.

Check out the Q&A below:

Julie Bowen: (On Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue) “I play a plane named Dipper and she is an air tanker and I put out fires and I’m really cool. It has a great message, you can enjoy the movie… message or no message. I’m really proud of being apart of this, I’ve never gotten to do an animated voice character in a movie, certainly never Disney which is a big deal. I think I’m a toy and I think now I’m a vitamin. I’m a plane and a vitamin, I made it…who needs awards…emmy’s

Melissa Musen Gerstein: What’s the big difference acting wise animation vs comedy on Modern Family.

Julie Bowen: There was a really big difference because I’m alone and I usually rely heavily on shtick, Ty or the other actors. This time I had to rely on editors. I spouted forth a lot of stuff that I couldn’t say in front of most of this audience. PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 to get it all out there and they would edit it.

Denise Albert: How was it to work on a film your kids can actually enjoy?

JB: That was huge! They never seen Modern Family, they’re terribly not interested in mom being anything other than a mom. It was the first time they got excited about going to a premiere and sitting there watching me, seeing all the commercials and hearing my voice and the toy and now I’m a vitamin!

Julie Bowen left us on the following note before her departure. I know your very powerful people, blog gently. We read all this stuff and we weep when it’s bad so… blog gently.

“Planes: Fire and Rescue” is a new comedy-adventure about second chances, featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire. When world famous air racer Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his courageous team, including spirited super scooper Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.

You can see Julie Bowen and her semi stalker tendencies in the new Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue in theaters tomorrow.
