Toy Fair 2015 Highlights

toyfair2015

MizCaramelVixen and I covered Toy Fair 2015 yesterday, take a look at some of the very cool things that we saw at Toy Fair.

The Walking Dead:

Saw a lot of very cool toys for The Walking Dead, both the TV series and the comic book. McFarlane Toys had some of the best ones. The attention to detail was really dope. I love the play sets, and they were all reasonably priced. I see I will have to make room in my playroom for some of the play sets.

Marvel Releases Microscopic “Ant-Man” Trailer

Ant-Man logo
In a day and age where there are now teaser trailers for teaser trailers, Marvel Studios has taken it one step further and released a teaser trailer for Ant-Man that’s all but impossible to see (without some heavy zooming that is).

The real full-sized trailer will run during the two-hour premiere of Agent Carter this Tuesday. Here’s hoping that those pesky Hydra agents don’t ruin the surprise like they did for the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer a few months ago.

Ant-Man is Scheduled to be released July, 2015.

Marvel Announces New Ant-Man Series

Press Release

This January, the Marvel Universe’s smallest super hero is ready for the big time in ANT-MAN #1, the new ongoing series launching as part of Avengers NOW! Announced this weekend at NYCC, critically acclaimed creators Nick Spencer (Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Avengers World) and Ramon Rosanas (Night of the Living Deadpool) take Scott Lang to new heights!

Scott Lang has never been the world’s best super hero. Heck, most people don’t even think he’s been the best Ant-Man – and the last guy created Ultron and joined the Masters of Evil, so that’s really saying something. But all that’s about to change when the Superior Iron Man calls up Scott with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

“For Scott, being Ant-Man is kind of his one big thing,” says writer Nick Spencer, in an interview with Marvel.com. “No matter how much trouble it’s caused him, or how much it’s cost him, it’s still the thing that plucked him out of criminal obscurity and gave him a chance to be something. And when we open, he’s trying to spin it into something new. He sees an opportunity.”

This is Scott Lang’s chance to turn it all around and be the hero he’s always wanted to be. Sure he’s been to prison! Sure he’s been through a messy divorce! Sure he’s been, um…dead. But this time it’s going to be different. New city. New outlook. New Scott. This time, nothing is going to stop the astonishing Ant-Man! And he’s coming to comic shops and digital devices this January for the all-new ANT-MAN #1!
